Florence Day 1 - Lovely Late Afternoon

We arrived in Florence at 3 pm from Rome and checked in to a beautiful Airbnb. After that, we headed straight out for the streets, and the temperatures were already cooling. We will do most of our walking and tours in the mornings and later afternoons into the evenings.

The Rome airport was quite chaotic and very hot. We saw many couples and families with massive suitcases trying to get on and off trains. Pack light!

We are excited for the remaining 12 days in Tuscany to see Venice, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Wine country, and more if we can fit it in!

Oh, the pizza and gelato were great starts to our food-fest during the month.
